When Hanamaki Onsen was founded in 1927, there was an inn called Horaikan, and it was opened as a public bath attached to it. When Hotel Hanamaki was completed in 1971, it was moved to the back of Hotel Hanamaki. There is an indoor bath that is a simple hot spring (hypotonic alkaline high temperature spring) that can accommodate about 20 people.
