“Ame Nimomakezu” poem monument

    Kenji Miyazawa retired from Hanamaki Agricultural College in March 1926, moved to this place where the Miyazawa family's second home had been, and began farming, living alone and cooking for himself, and established the Rasu Jijin Association. He gave lectures on chemistry, soil, etc. to farmers. There is a poem monument inscribed with the second half of ``Ame Nimo Makezu'' in November 1936. Additionally, this poem monument is written by Kotaro Takamura.
