Mizusawa Racecourse is a racetrack that retains a somewhat retro atmosphere. You can see Mt. Hayachine to the north, Mt. Kurikoma to the west, Mt. Takuine to the south, Taneyamagahara to the east, which was loved by Kenji Miyazawa, and on clear days you can even see Mt. Iwate. It will be done.
In spring, the 150 Yoshino cherry trees planted around the racecourse bloom beautifully, and when it opens to the public, it is crowded with many cherry blossom viewing visitors.
