Ekikira Namiita Beach

The beach reopened in 2017.

Onnayudo Beach

In 2019, it reopened as a beach.

Kojin Beach

A beach with emerald green water and white sand at the southernmost tip of the Funakoshi Peninsula. It was reopened in 2014.

Otsutsumi Park Campsite (Kitakami Sports Park)

A campsite located within Kitakami Sports Park. It's convenient because it's in the middle of town and there's a convenience store nearby.

Amihari Onsen Campsite

Since it is a campsite within a vacation village, it is fully equipped and can be used safely even on days such as heavy rain. There is a day trip bathing facility "Yakushi-no-Yu" 2 to 3 minutes walk away, and you can enjoy the hot springs while camping.

Asajima sightseeing apple orchard

You can enjoy picking several types of apples at the scenic apple orchard. There is an ownership system for apple trees. *Apple picking in 2023 is scheduled for early September to early November.

Campground Bearbell

A campsite built by an owner who loves the outdoors and camping. There is a kitchen with drinkable hot spring water. It is a place blessed with nature, with hot springs and Natsuyu Kogen ski resort nearby. It is also open during the winter, so you can enjoy camping in the snow.

Aneyoshi Campsite (*day trip only)

This campground is located at the starting point of the promenade to Todokasaki Lighthouse, located on the easternmost tip of Honshu. It was closed due to tsunami damage, but reopened in April 2016 as a day-trip campground.

Uranohama Beach

The beach reopened in 2017. A shallow beach with calm waves. There are ``Oyster Hut'' and ``Whale and Sea Science Museum'' nearby, which the whole family can enjoy.

Michinoku Koto Country Club

Each highly strategic course takes advantage of nature. You can enjoy a variety of play on this attractive course that stands out with its individuality.

Nanbufuji Country Club

3 courses and 27 holes designed by "Sir" Peter Thomson, who has designed famous courses around the world. It is often the stage for big tournaments.

Akabane Ski Resort

In addition to 3 courses from beginner to advanced, there is also a children's play area where the whole family can enjoy playing in the snow. Night games are also open. It is the closest ski resort to the coastal area.
