Farmhouse Restaurant Yasumiishi

In a room with a hearth that has been renovated from an old folk house, we serve home-cooked meals made with local grains and wild vegetables. There are about eight dishes, including seasonal ingredients such as bracken and butterbur, and homemade desserts such as millet dumplings. Reservations are required and are accepted up to two days in advance. The number of people can range from 4 to 15 people. We will also sell sweets such as Yube Manju, cereals, and fresh vegetables.

eisaku candy

Nostalgic candy. This unique candy has a soft texture and is enjoyed by everyone from the elderly to children. This candy was created by our predecessor Eisaku in the early Showa era and has a tradition of over 60 years, with a gentle taste made from natural ingredients.

Sanriku seaweed

The finest wakame seaweed is carefully sourced and collected. Please try authentic wakame at the best time. The manufacturer Endo Bussan's factory was washed away by the Great East Japan Earthquake. With no hope of recovery at the previous location, we have rented space and gradually resumed production.
