    Chusonji Temple in Hiraizumi was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2011. The three large cedar trees with connected roots next to the main hall of Chuson-ji Temple were named ``Famous Confectionary Sandai Cedar'' after the three generations of Oshu and Fujiwara.
