Hanamaki Toy Museum

An experiential tree training facility opened in 2020 in the Marukan Building in Hanamaki City. The wood used is wood grown in Hanamaki and Iwate prefectures, and the processing and construction are carried out by craftsmen in Iwate prefecture. This is a facility where not only children but people of all ages can enjoy the charm of wood through toys and play.

Gonshichien Garden

A blueberry farm near Kindaichi Onsenkyo. You can experience picking ripe, sweet fruits. It's a taste you can only find here that you can't buy in stores. [Opening in 2023] July 15th (Saturday) to August 5th (Saturday) *May close earlier.

Kamabata weaving

Also known as ``sakiori'', it is a textile that has been passed down in rural areas since ancient times. It is a thick fabric made from torn threads of old cloth, and is a folk art created from the wisdom of not wasting old things.

Miyako Country Club

This is the only seaside course in the prefecture, located almost in the center of Sanriku Fukko National Park, where the magnificent scenery spreads out, and the course layout skillfully incorporates the intricate ria-style coastline. There is also a thrilling short hole that goes over the sea. Open all seasons.

Hayama Glasses Bridge

Hayama Megane Bridge, which spans the Kesen River that flows through Sumita Town, is an arch-shaped concrete bridge built in 1930. On the northbound route of Yoshitsune, there are legends such as ``Footprints of Benkei'' and ``A semi-official pine tree.'' The surrounding area is Hayama Meganebashisui Park, which is maintained so that you can enjoy nature.

Sweet and spicy boiled shiitake mushrooms/pickled shiitake mushrooms in lees

``Shiitake Boiled in Sweet and Spicy'' is a sweet and spicy simmer of ``Dried Shiitake'', a special product of Daito Town, which is made by drying thick shiitake mushrooms grown in Daito Town's natural woodlots. ``Shiitake mushroom lees pickled'' is made by marinating ``dried shiitake mushrooms'' with sake lees. Both are homemade flavors made by local moms without any additives.
