Kinkonzuke

One theory is that in this region, it is an important preserved food that is pickled in homemade miso, and the older it gets, the more flavor it gets, so it was named ``Konkonzuke'' after the Golden Wedding. Carrots and kelp rolls are tightly packed inside the gourd hole, and when you slice them into rounds, the carrots' colors come out brightly.

Kodoian Nodate Kiln

The original clay was sourced from Noda, and the glaze was made from apple ash and other materials that could be collected from the city, aiming to create pottery with a rich folk art feel that is unique to Hanamaki.

A direct sales store run mainly by the JA Women's Department. In addition to freshly harvested agricultural products, the store also sells wood crafts and craft items.
