Yamato no Oka Forest Park

Yamato-no-oka Forest Park is located halfway up Mt. Kujihiradake. The view from the Chibikko Hiroba viewing point offers a panoramic view of more than 270 degrees, with the rich greenery of Taneichi and the refreshing blue of the sea. The plaza also has slides and other play equipment, making it perfect for families. The park has a campsite with a wooden deck and an administration building with a shower room, so you can enjoy a comfortable outdoor life. Transfer to JR Tohoku Main Line Hachinohe Station and get off at JR Hachinohe Line Taneichi Station

Okaya Inari Shrine

A shrine with a long history, located in a forest of old trees. Enshrined as the deity of Uka Nōtama no Mikoto, it is one of the most prominent shrines in the Sanriku region and is visited by many visitors from far away. In particular, the annual festival in May is crowded with many worshipers. Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to Shukudo Station on the JR Hachinohe Line and get off at Morioka Station, then transfer at JR Tohoku Main Line Hachinohe Station.

Hirono Town Taneichi History and Folklore Museum

We are exhibiting materials about ``Nanbu Moguri,'' which was passed down to Taneichi and is famous nationwide. It has a library, and several times a year special exhibitions related to the history of the town are held. Transfer to JR Tohoku Main Line Hachinohe Station and get off at JR Hachinohe Line Taneichi Station
