    An earthen dam with a height of 23 meters that dammed the Iwasaki River, which was frequently causing floods and other water damage. The view of the town from the dam side is exceptional, and there is also a health road that goes around the dam. Nearby are the hot spring bathing facility ``Pastoral Baden'' and the indoor heated pool ``Nanchang Green Heights.''

    wild grapes

    We made juice and jam using whole mountain grapes grown at the foot of Mt. Nanchang. You can drink the juice as it is, or you can enjoy it with milk. Also, enjoy the jam with bread or yogurt.

    Tokutan Castle Ruins

    An ancient castle fence built by the conquering shogun Bunshiro Watamaro in the early Heian period (around 813). Divided by a rectangular outer wall approximately 350m on each side, it was built for the purpose of pacifying Ezo and controlling the Shiba region, and is a nationally designated historic site. It has been developed as a historical park, and you can see artifacts excavated from the Tokutan Castle ruins at the folklore museum inside the park.

    Nusakake Falls and Kitanosawa Otaki Falls

    Nusakake Falls is located at the eastern entrance of Mt. Nanchang, and it is said that in the past, when mountaineers entered the mountain, they offered money to the mountain god to pray for safety. The waterfall is 7m high and 4.5m wide, and appears to have two tiers. There is a promenade along the river to the basin of the waterfall. Upstream is Kitanosawa Falls, which is 13m high and 3m wide.
