Cherry blossom trees along Hiraizumi Prefectural Route 300 (former National Route 4)

Along Prefectural Route 300 (formerly National Route 4) from around JR Hiraizumi Station to Chusonji Temple, there is a line of cherry blossom trees such as Yoshino cherry trees that stretches for approximately 1.5km.

Ennen dance

It is dedicated to the gods and Buddha during the festival of Matara God on the 20th day of the new year (20th night festival) following the regular ritual of the Sanmiku. Ennen means to extend one's age, or live a long life, and it came to be used as a general term for the songs and dances performed by monks after Buddhist services at major temples, and became popular from the Heian period to the Muromachi period. Yanagi no Gosho Historical Park

The Yanaginogosho ruins, which are said to have been built by the first generation Kiyohira and redeveloped by the third generation Hidehira, are highly likely to be the Heisenkan (government office). It opened to the public as a historic park on April 24, 2010.
