Kojin Shrine

It is one of the places where the original scenery typical of Tono remains. There is a legend that Gongen-sama, who is enshrined in a thatched-roofed shrine nestled in a rice field, bit off one ear of a Gongen-sama from another land, and is also known as Kojin, the fierce god. It is a soothing landscape that you can see reflected in the rice fields in spring, green rice fields in summer, golden ears of rice in autumn, and pure white snow in winter.

Roadside Station Miyamori Meganebashi Direct Sales Office

A direct sales shop located on the premises of the roadside station Miyamori along National Route 283. In addition to selling fresh locally harvested vegetables, there are also processed products made with wasabi grown in clean, cold water, such as wasabi lees pickles, wasabi miso, tassobe pickles, and wasabi soft drinks.

Terasawa plateau

From the observation deck located at an altitude of 1,000 meters, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hayachine, and Mt. Chokai in the distance. *During the winter, the road may be closed due to snow conditions.
