Ryokan Ichijo [Yumoto Onsen]

Yukawa Onsen

Located 4km south of Hottoyuda Station, there are Dezu-no-yu, Naka-no-yu, and Oku-no-yu, and many inns along the Koogase River, a tributary of the Waga River. It has been popular as a hot spring resort since ancient times, and many visitors come all the way from Akita. About 3km from Oku-no-Yu is the floating island of Yukawa-numa, which is designated as a natural monument by the prefecture.

Natsuyu Kogen Onsen [Usamori no Yu] (Day trip bathing facility)

An open-air bath where you can escape from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the view of Natsuyu Plateau surrounded by mountains on all sides. From the terraced bathtub, you can even see Kitakami City in the distance. The far infrared sauna with an outside window warms your body comfortably and is perfect for refreshing. The indoor bath also uses plenty of natural hot spring water, so you can thoroughly relax in the bath.
