Coast

A cliff-top cape at the eastern base of the Hirota Peninsula. It is a sea cliff formed by five layers of hard sandstone and shale rock that have been eroded by the sea. There is a cave called ``Demonose Cave'' on the west side, and two blowholes on the side of the narrow water channel between Tsurushima and Kameshima. The sound of the water being blown up is loud, and it also serves as a good beacon for fishing boats in heavy fog. That's what it means. Nationally designated natural monument
