Kurosaki Auto Campsite & Kurosaki Campsite

A popular auto campsite and free campsite located in Kurosaki, one of the highlights of Sanriku Fukko National Park. There are three communal kitchens, flush toilets, and toilets for the disabled. The auto campground has 23 sections. The free campsite has a spacious space for 50 campers. A comfortable space with grass and sand in the shade of pine trees.

Rikuchukurosaki Lighthouse

This concrete lighthouse stands on a cliff at an altitude of 130m in Kurosaki, which juts out into the Pacific Ocean, and has been selected as one of Japan's top 50 lighthouses. The range of light reaches approximately 30 nautical miles (approximately 55 km), the largest in Tohoku. Kurosaki, like Kitayamazaki located in Tanohata Village, is a scenic coastal terrace spot in Sanriku Fukko National Park. As a lighthouse on the 40th parallel of northern latitude, it is paired with the Nyudozaki Lighthouse at the northern tip of the Oga Peninsula in Akita Prefecture on the Sea of ​​Japan side. Its appearance on the quay is beautiful, and it is also affectionately known as the "Chalk Lighthouse." This lighthouse is loved not only by tourists but also by locals.

Osawa Bridge

This is the spot where the Sanriku Railway crosses the railway bridge with the Pacific Ocean in the background. This 30-meter-high railroad bridge is located south of Sanriku Railway's Horiuchi Station. It is said to be one of the most famous spots along the Sanriku Railway line. The train stops for about one minute on the bridge to provide tourists with an ocean view. In the drama "Amachan," the scene of Natsubappa waving the big fishing flag was filmed on the beach below.
