Kunohe Shrine is also the general guardian of Kunohe Village, and is known as the shrine where successive generations of the Kunohe family prayed for victory in battle. It houses many cultural properties designated by the village, such as two Buddhist statues, votive swords, mud paintings, and a ridge plate associated with Prince Masazane.
