In the Kawaguchi area, for about 230 years, the Akiura daimyo procession (dokkoi) has always led the mikoshi at Toyogi Inari Shrine annual festivals, when the mikoshi is handed over or returned to the shrine, and kagura, fox dances, seven dances, and festival floats have been dedicated. The customs have been passed down to this day, and it is a traditional performing art that Iwate Town is proud of.
