On the night of August 15th, young people whose coming-of-age ceremony will be held next year carry handmade jumbo daruma dolls and parade through the town, praying for good health, and then burn them on the riverbed.
*Since the event was postponed due to the new coronavirus, young people aged 21 and 22 will participate in 2025.
