Nishida Shokudo

Nishida Shokudo, famous for its handmade soba noodles, is less than a minute's walk from the Numamiyachi Elementary School bus stop. The soba we use is a blend of two types of buckwheat flour ground in a stone mill. Of course, the soba noodles are handmade. This is a special limited edition product that is prepared only once a day. Most of the vegetables and mushrooms that make up the ingredients are grown in Iwate and are full of flavor. This is a popular restaurant that is always packed at lunchtime.

Yakiniku/Morioka Reimen Hige

We are proud of our handmade Morioka cold noodles. Soup and kimchi are all homemade. There are also seats available for wheelchair users (barrier-free areas).

Handmade soba Seki Shokudo

Seki Shokudo is a handmade soba restaurant located in Shizukuishi Town. This is the only shop in Shizukuishi Town where you can experience Wanko Soba.

Restaurant Gen

Restaurant Gen is located in front of Chusonji Temple and Tsukimizaka. The popular ``Hiraizumi Mochi Gozen'' is a traditional hospitality dish that has been handed down in Hiraizumi since ancient times, and you can enjoy six types of mochi: red bean paste, ginger, zunda, spicy, white sesame, and zoni.

Aya Sonoko Issaryo

There is a black stucco storehouse that is over 200 years old in Konyamachi, where many earthen storehouse-style buildings still remain. The first floor is Gallery Saisono, and the second floor is Issaryo (coffee shop). The light from the lamps gently illuminating the high-ceilinged interior and the nostalgic furniture will soothe your soul. Enjoy a relaxing moment with coffee and Chinese tea. There is also ``Aisono II'' in the back, which is a hidden art space.

Self-help workshop Shiki no Sato

When you open the shoji door at the front, you will find a renovated table and chairs. We use local brown soba noodles and do all the milling at Shiki-no-Sato. Enjoy freshly ground, freshly made handmade soba noodles and freshly fried tempura.

Tono Genghis Khan Hitsujimaru Michi (formerly Maruman Jingisan Hitsujimaru)

A store specializing in Tono's famous "Genghis Khan". Characterized by soft meat. It goes well with our special sauce made with carefully selected ingredients. Cold noodles are also available.

Esashi Kinfuda rice

Esashi Kinfuda rice has been selected as one of the top 100 Japanese rice varieties, and received the highest rating of "Special A" in the taste ranking by the Japan Grain Inspection Association.

Yakiniku/cold noodles Seirokaku

Reopened on December 12, 2015. A Yakiniku cold noodle restaurant located in front of Morioka Station with convenient transportation access. The cold noodles are delicious, with a soup made from carefully prepared beef bones and shanks, home-made chewy noodles, and homemade kimchi that harmonize well. This restaurant is also popular for its yakiniku made with high-quality Japanese black beef.

Kyoto restaurant

We offer home-grown traps grilled with salt. The miso ramen with plenty of vegetables and rockfish set meals are popular, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.

Tartary soba

Tartary soba is said to contain 100 times more rutin, which strengthens capillaries, than Japanese soba. When boiled, it is slightly yellow in color and has a bittersweet flavor.
