Tategamori Plateau, located at the southernmost tip of the Kitakami Mountains, is home to the Iwate Safari Park, where 700 animals of approximately 70 different species live in a vast grassland, where flowers bloom from spring to autumn, and where Tategamori Plateau pigs are produced and sold. It is a plateau where you can get in touch with nature and there is an abundance of agricultural products such as Ark Farm, apple orchard, and raspberry farm.
