Appi Toyohata Onsen

Frontier Hot Spring opened in 1998. The large bath is also equipped with a sauna. The hypotonic alkaline high-temperature spring is amber in color and has a surprising variety of effects when used for bathing or drinking.

Saiunso [Fujishichi Onsen]

A secluded hot spring with a rustic atmosphere and the highest elevation in the Tohoku region. Hachimantai is a volcanic area and is dotted with unique hot springs with spectacular views. Fujishichi Onsen is characterized by a cloudy open-air bath that gushes out from the bathtub, and a mud bath that contains plenty of hot spring ingredients. On days when the weather is favorable, you can enjoy the sunrise and the spectacular view of the sea of clouds.
