    Lake Tase is a large man-made lake with a circumference of 45 km, formed by the Sarugegawa River, a clear stream. From mid-June to early July, approximately 200,000 irises adorn the shores of the lake, and in summer, canoeing, sailing, and other lake sports can be enjoyed.
    It can also be reached from the Kitakami-Etsuriko IC of the Tohoku Expressway.
