This is a vast historical theme park of approximately 20 hectares where visitors can trace the history of the Oshu Fujiwara Clan and experience the history and culture of the Michinoku region.
Based on rigorous historical research, the park has fully recreated the ancient castle fences of the Tohoku region, Kiyohira Fujiwara's residence Toyotadate, the Oshu Fujiwara clan's government office, Hidehira's residence Kyara Gosho, and Konjikido, a symbol of the golden culture. It is also known as a filming location for many TV programs and movies, including the Taiga Drama.
In addition, regular performances of the local performing art "Esashi Shika Odori" are held (every Sunday from late April to mid-November). (Two performances a day at 11:00 and 14:00) Groups performing at the 2024 regular performances
