This campground is located near the summit of Mt. Kujihiradake, which is 706 meters above sea level, and is popular for its views from the summit and the beauty of the azaleas in early summer. There is an observation deck at the top of the mountain, and the view of Mt. Iwate, the Hakkoda Mountain Range, and the Pacific Ocean is truly spectacular.
