Located 4km south of Hottoyuda Station, there are Dezu-no-yu, Naka-no-yu, and Oku-no-yu, and many inns along the Koogase River, a tributary of the Waga River. It has been popular as a hot spring resort since ancient times, and many visitors come all the way from Akita. About 3km from Oku-no-Yu is the floating island of Yukawa-numa, which is designated as a natural monument by the prefecture.
