Frontier Hot Spring opened in 1998. The large public bath is also equipped with a sauna. The hypotonic, weakly alkaline high temperature spring (sodium spring) is amber in color and offers a variety of surprising effects when used for bathing or drinking. The self-catering building also has private facilities, so you can easily enjoy a hot spring bath for a long stay. The rest room can be used as a nap room from 5pm, and there is also a coin laundry, so it is popular with touring customers. Across the road, we also run Onsen Minshuku Kawano, which boasts reasonable prices and local cuisine.
