It is a small inn with only 4 rooms. The chairs and beds in the inn are handmade by the owner and his wife, and the furnishings are warm. The meals are Western-style course meals. The tan stew is well-received by word of mouth.

Bath: Family bath available 24 hours a day (private use OK). Artificial hot spring made of barley stone.

Kappa no Yado [Hachimantai Onsenkyo]

Kappa no Yado" is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2009 after setting up store in Higashi Hachimantai Onsenkyo. Our guests appreciate the clean rooms, inexpensive rates, and TVs in our cheap lodging. Our dining room is also used by the local people. All dishes are handmade and have the same old, gentle, nostalgic taste. Seasonal dishes are also available in limited quantities. Please come and visit us for lunch, dinner, or supper.

All of the building's structural and interior materials, as well as furniture such as chairs, are made from local materials such as larch and Japanese red pine. A facility where you can experience the beauty and beauty of wood, with a focus on locally produced wood for local consumption.
