Ogase Falls

It is located in the Hanamaki Onsen area, and is said to be named for the fact that it appears to fall in a straight line from a height of 17 meters, resembling hemp wrapped in a skein.

Sakurajijinkan

This facility is located next to Kenji Miyazawa's ``Ame Nimo Makezu'' poem monument, and exhibits the belongings and works of Kenji Miyazawa, Kotaro Takamura, and Tetsugoro Man.

Ishidoriya History and Folklore Museum

It houses sake brewing tools that tell the story of the history of sake brewing in the south, and introduces the sake brewing process. 1,788 of the sake brewing tools have been designated as important cultural properties of the country. Also on display are Jomon pottery excavated from within the town, clay bear figurines that are rare in Japan, ancient documents such as umbrella-shaped complaints, and personal accessories that reflect that era. We also exhibit sake vessels from Japan and around the world.
