Endowment year solicitation. It has been deeply worshiped by the local people as ``Omyoken-sama'' since ancient times, and it is said that Minamoto no Yoriyoshi dedicated the ``Dowaniguchi'', the oldest inscribed Waniguchi in this prefecture, and the one worn by Sadato Abe. It houses cultural properties designated by the prefecture, such as the ``Golden Bronze Maedate.'' The carvings in the main hall are worth seeing. The Somin Festival is held in early January every year.

Sake Folk Culture Museum

Seki no Ichi Sake Brewery was named by Emperor Meiji's younger brother, Prince Kanin, who said, ``Make good sake that will please the people of the world.'' The ``Sake Folk Culture Museum'' inside is made up of valuable earthen storehouses that still retain traces of the time of its founding. The two-story wooden storehouse is the largest in Tohoku. Inside, some of the more than 1,600 sake-making tools are on display. You can also see the brewer's room, which enshrines Matsuo Daimyojin, the god of sake, and materials related to the production of rice, which is essential for sake. In 2006, the ``Ichinoseki Literature Storehouse'' was opened to honor 12 writers associated with Ichinoseki.

Kawasaki Disaster Prevention Center (Kitakami River Exchange Center)

A facility built by the former Kawasaki Village and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism along the Kitakami River in 2004. During normal times, it serves as an exchange facility for water activities, and in emergencies, it serves as a disaster prevention facility, and is used as a base facility for water activities and flood prevention. The facility has a training room and a hangar for the river research vessel ``Yuzu''. We also rent camping/outdoor equipment and event equipment.
