It is located approximately in the middle of the Ura-Iwate Mountain Range course that runs from Mt. Iwate to Hachimantai. It is a mountain where sticky lava erupted from the center of the gently sloping mountain, and its name comes from the fact that the area near the summit looks like three peaks from any direction. Mitsuishi Sanso is located in Mitsuishi Wetland, which has a pond and wetlands. Altitude: 1,466m. The Amihari course from Amihari Onsen to the summit of the mountain via Mitsuishi Wetland is suitable for the general public.
