Confectionery Chef Yamazen

This panel introduces the production process of craft confectionery (from dough to mold cutting and finishing). Inside the store, there are about 30 craft confections made from sweets, such as flowers, trees, and birds, on display, and the ``Nanbu Hanaguma'', which won the Zenka Expo Crafts Award at the 23rd National Confectionery Expo, is spectacular. . You can fully enjoy the charm of Japanese sweets that make you feel each season through their reliable work with carefully selected ingredients.

Hayasaka plateau

The grassland, which stretches over 1 km from east to west, is surrounded by forests of white birch and larch. In spring, buttercups, azaleas, and azaleas are in full bloom. Part of the grassland where Mt. Iwate and Mt. Himekami overlap is used as a pasture, where Japanese Shorthorn beef cattle, affectionately known as ``Akabeko'', are grazed. Sakurayama Shrine

It was founded in 1749. The shrine building is located on the site of the Sannomaru ruins of Morioka Castle, and was worshiped as the guardian deity of the Nanbu domain. In 1926, a sword made by Kuninaga in the early Nanbokucho period was donated to Sakurayama Shrine by Nanbu Rijun, and is designated as an important cultural property of the country. The annual festival is held from May 25th to 27th, and includes a parade of warriors and offerings of traditional performing arts.
