This is a museum located at the main entrance of Chusonji Temple that introduces the glory of Hiraizumi, the golden Buddhist capital, and Hiraizumi during the Date period. We display many valuable cultural assets, including models and illustrations of Motsuji Temple, Muryokoin Temple, and Nikai Daido Hall, which were restored based on the academic research that Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, Fujishima Kaijiro, has made his life's work.
