Surisawa Hachiman Shrine

According to the outline of Hachiman Shrine, it was built in May of the 17th year of Kan'ei era, rebuilt in August of the 3rd year of the Jokyo era, and rebuilt in August of the 13th year of the Kyoho era, and is an outstanding structure with excellent design. In addition, the ``Hachiman Shrine Monument'' in the precincts states that Minamoto no Yoriyoshi, who had a difficult time in the War of the Nine Years, prayed for Hachiman Shrine in Yamashiro and was victorious in battle, so the shrine was built and enshrined here. The main hall is a cultural property designated by the prefecture, and houses the town-designated cultural properties, such as the Warabite sword and the armor of Surisawa Hachiman Shrine.

Seki no Ichi Sake Brewery

The Ichinoseki region is blessed with abundant water and rice cultivation from the Kitakami and Ou mountains. This sake is brewed with the secret techniques and love of Nambu's chief brewer, using water grown in this land and carefully selected rice. Wind Scented Hill Michinoku Horse Riding Club (in Murone Kogen Ranch)

It was opened in 1971 in the Murone Yamanchufuku wilderness area in order to promote dairy farming in the Daito, Senmaya, and Murone areas. Currently, in addition to grazing cattle, we have opened a horse riding club where you can enjoy horseback riding. You can also dine at the restaurant while enjoying the refreshing highland atmosphere. The equestrian department reopened in April 2010.
