A grassland area that stretches gently between Mt. Nanashigure and Mt. Tashiro. Brown shorthorn cattle graze in the meadows, and you can see the peaceful pastoral scenery. In addition, the ``Ihatobu Trial'', which is held every summer, is one of the largest bike trials in the country, starting from the Tashirodira Plateau and traveling along the 40° north latitude line to Fudai Village on the Rikuchu Coast over a two-day round trip.
