Mt. Orizume (mountain summit observation deck)

Mt. Orizume is a folding screen-like mountain (852m above sea level) that separates the Pacific coast from the inland area. The Orizume course on the Ninohe side is about 8 km from the base of Tate Bridge on the Ninohe/Kunohe Line to the top, and takes about 3 hours. For this reason, we are blessed with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Hachinohe sea and the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean. Also, due to the large temperature difference between the coastal and inland areas, seas of clouds often occur, and you can see Mt. Iwate floating in the sea of ​​clouds from the observation deck. Zashiki Warashi

Kindaichi Onsen has a history of more than 300 years and was once a secret hot spring of the Nanbu domain. ``Ryokufuso'' is a ryokan located in the hot spring town and is said to be the home of ``Zashikiwarashi'', one of the oldest ryokan in Kindaichi Onsen. From the wide entrance, cross the noisy hallway and head to the back to find the back parlor. There is a legend that if you stay in this zashiki you will meet the zashiki warashi and those who see it will be promoted in life. Zashikiwarashi is not a ghost, but a divine spirit of a boy with a cute bobbed hair, and in this region it is considered an important guardian deity of the house. Although it is a legend, there are still many people who claim to have seen the Zashiki Warashi.

Mt. Inaniwa

Inaniwadake is a gentle plateau with an altitude of 1078 meters, and it takes about 40 minutes to walk from the trailhead to the top, making it perfect for hiking. The view from the spacious summit is exceptional, and you can see everything from Mt. Iwate to the Hakkoda Mountain Range. It is possible to climb the mountain in a wheelchair (please inquire).
