The main facilities are Shiwa Town's representative farm direct sales store and Shiwa Fruit Park Exchange Hall.
``Farm Direct Center Akasawa'' is packed with processed products such as apples, grapes, peaches, fresh vegetables, and 100% juice.
The exchange center has a shop stocked with local Shiwa sake, pottery, and folk crafts.
In addition, Restaurant Karin-tei has been well-received for its diverse menus that use plenty of local ingredients, such as the Nanbu Hitsumi set meal and the Japanese-style steak set meal.

Shiwa Inari Shrine and Shiwa Old Inari Shrine

Shiwa Inari Shrine is visited by many worshipers as it is believed to be the guardian deity of good harvests, big catches, and traffic safety. In the precincts, there is an old cedar tree that is said to be 1,000 years old and is a place of worship. In addition, the neighboring Shiwako Inari Shrine became a hot topic when a mummy fox was discovered in a sacred tree that fell during the Aion Typhoon.

Yamaya’s skunk cabbage

The skunk cabbage in the Yamaya district in the northeast of Shiwa Town is located at an altitude of 250 meters, so it usually blooms later than in the flatlands, from late April to early May. The Yamaya Skunk Cabbage Festival is held in late May when the skunk cabbage blooms.
