Nanashi Ameyama

The name comes from the fact that the weather changes seven times a day. From the top of the mountain, which is 1063 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Iwate and Hachimantai.

Akiko Ema’s poetry monument

Akiko Ema, famous for writing the lyrics for ``Summer Memories'' and ``Hana no Machi,'' lived in Hiratate Village (currently Hiratate District, Hachimantai City) when she was a child, and had a great influence on her own works.
