Originally the general office of Kamaishi Mining Co., Ltd. Nationally registered tangible cultural property. It is also the largest iron mine in Japan and one of the leading copper mines in Japan. This is a facility that widely promotes Kamaishi Mine. It's perfect for learning about history and geology, with a floor that recreates the Kamaishi Mining School and mining office, and an exhibition corner of ore from the mines.
