Onikoshi Sozen Shrine

In 1597, a horse in Sawauchi village became unruly while playing in the field, ran all the way to Takizawa, and died. The villagers buried him with care and built a shrine. This is said to be the beginning of Sozen Shrine, and since then, people have taken time off from work to decorate their horses and worship at this shrine on May 5th, Boy's Festival. This is the birthplace of Chagu Chagu Umako, which has been held on June 15 of the new calendar since 1968, and on the second Saturday of June since 2001.

Takizawa Buried Cultural Properties Center Historical Site Park “Yubuzawa Stone Ring”

The Takizawa Village Buried Cultural Properties Center opened in April 2000 next to the historic park ``Yubunezawa Stone Circle''. Approximately 300 items, including pottery and stone tools excavated from ruins within the village, are openly displayed. The museum is made up of five corners where you can learn about the excavation process and the history of the village. Additionally, for those who require explanations or who wish to touch the artifacts themselves, they can touch and view the exhibits under the guidance of an interpreter. Goryu no Fuji

Wisteria in the precincts of Kakukake Shrine. It is rare in the prefecture to have five large trees that are approximately 200 to 300 years old growing in their natural state. Its appearance is reminiscent of five dragons soaring into the sky, hence the name Five Dragon Fuji.
