Its home is the Shizukuishi region near Morioka, and it is also called ``Shizukuishi Yoshire.'' The song was born with an interesting romantic feel against the backdrop of the turbulent Sengoku era, and has been passed down from village to village as a spiritual support for the local people. The emotion in the song is expressed as a dance and continues to this day. In Shizukuishi, it is sung and danced as an indispensable part of celebrations, especially wedding banquets. It is originally a zashiki dance, but during the ``Shizukuishi Yoshare Festival'' during Obon, a large parade dance by Shizukuishi Anekko is performed. The songs are lively and rhythmic in the form of jinku. It is a folk song selected as the third Iwate prefecture standard song, and is a gorgeous song comparable to ``Karame-bushi''. Additionally, the ``Nanbu Yoshare National Convention'' is held in late August every year.
