The most popular way to climb the mountain is the Ipponsugi Course, which weaves through a white birch forest while admiring the alpine plants.It takes about an hour and a half to reach the top. The view is outstanding, and you can see the skyline of Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hayachine, and the mountains bordering Akita Prefecture.
