In some places, you can see majestic cliffs over 150 meters high.
Benten fishing port has deep blue Nedari Beach and a small white-walled island below.
Of course, there are boats that go fishing in the nearby seas,
You can see Fudai Village's seabirds, such as cormorants, sea hawks, and ducks, flying around in the beautiful blue sky.
From May to July, you may be able to see the fantastic phenomena created by the Yamase (northeast wind).
It's also a good spot to view the starry sky.

Rikuchukurosaki Lighthouse

This concrete lighthouse stands on a cliff at an altitude of 130m in Kurosaki, which juts out into the Pacific Ocean, and has been selected as one of Japan's top 50 lighthouses. The range of light reaches approximately 30 nautical miles (approximately 55 km), the largest in Tohoku. Kurosaki, like Kitayamazaki located in Tanohata Village, is a scenic coastal terrace spot in Sanriku Fukko National Park. As a lighthouse on the 40th parallel of northern latitude, it is paired with the Nyudozaki Lighthouse at the northern tip of the Oga Peninsula in Akita Prefecture on the Sea of Japan side. Its appearance on the quay is beautiful, and it is also affectionately known as the "Chalk Lighthouse." This lighthouse is loved not only by tourists but also by locals.

Utori Kagura

It is a type of Yamabushi Kagura in which the gongen is a lion head carrying the divine spirit of Utori Shrine. From January to March every year, the "Mawari Kagura" tour goes around the north to Kuji and the south to Kamaishi every other year. The tour is held at Kagura inns and community centers around the country. Dances from a total of 53 performances will be performed, and prayers will be held. The secret to captivating the audience is the wide variety of programs, including the divine ``Mountain God'', the humorous ``Ebisu Mai'' fishing for sea bream, and skit-like programs. In 2015, it was designated as a national important intangible folk cultural property.

Shirai Kaigan Station

An unexplored station on the Sanriku Railway, said to be the best in Tohoku. It is sandwiched between two tunnels, and there is only one forest road in front of the station, and it is far from the village. The station's nickname is "The Scent of Sea Urchins." The Shirai area was named because it is a sea urchin production area.
