A roadside station located along National Route 281, approximately halfway between Kuzumaki Town and Kuji City. The specialty products corner sells locally produced fresh vegetables and grains, as well as crafts. You can also try the local gourmet "Mamebu" at "Yamagata" inside the roadside station.

Sea diver soup and stew with strawberries

This soup is made with fresh seafood from the Sanriku coast. Ama-no-Iso-jiru is made with sea urchin, tsubu, and scallops, and Ichigo-ni-ni is lavishly prepared with sea urchin and abalone, both of which are typical specialties of Kuji.

Roadside station “Iwate Kita Sanriku”

The roadside station "Iwate Kita-Sanriku" opened in April 2023 as an exchange base facility that connects the "sea, mountains, village, and people" of Kita-Sanriku. There is a merchandise corner with fresh local products from Kita-Sanriku (Hirono Town, Kuji City, Fudai Village, Noda Village), a kids space where children can have fun, and a food and beverage corner. In addition, ``Ishitsubute Park'' will be opened outdoors, where Tohoku's first Pokémon playground equipment will be installed. There is also a gas station attached, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to stop during your drive.
