Isshuzaka

In the midst of the fierce battle in the Former Nine Years' War, Hachimantaro Yoshiie (Minamoto no Yoshiie) sang a poem "Koromo no tachi wa horo koromare ni koroware ni kakeri" (The hall of the robe is fading), to which Abe Sadatoh responded, "The bitterness of the disorder of threads after years have passed". Yoshie felt this and dared not pursue the poem.
This is the origin of the name of this hill, Ichikushuzaka.
