Fumonji Temple

It is said to have been founded by Osho Kigai, the son of the monk Eisai of Kenninji Temple in Kyoto, and there is a garden with a three-storied pagoda, a large Buddha statue, and a statue of the Nio, as well as a row of giant cedar trees, and azaleas bloom profusely in early summer. The three-storied pagoda in the garden (a prefectural cultural property) is a wooden building with a copper plate roof that was built in 1809. Kesen Carpenter and Plastering Tradition Museum

The Kesen Carpenter and Plasterer Tradition Museum was built in the citizen's forest to pass on and preserve the craftsmanship of Kesen carpenters and plasterers. Kesen cedar is used abundantly here as well, and there are three buildings with a variety of styles, such as thatched mushrooms and warehouse structures. The tea you drink in the hearth of the main building also has a special taste.

Tsubakijima

Aomatsushima and Tsubakijima are the beautiful islands at the tip of the Hirota Peninsula and the southernmost tip of Iwate Prefecture. It is famous as a breeding ground for black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed cats, and groups of black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed black-tailed cats gather here from April to July. Tsubakijima used to have a colony of camellias on one side, but due to the breeding of black-tailed black-tailed gulls, it has now withered and is now a bare island. Aomatsushima is designated as a prefectural scenic spot and natural monument, and Tsubakishima is designated as a national natural monument.
