Hachimantai

Hachimantai, a part of Towada-Hachimantai National Park, straddles both Iwate and Akita prefectures, and includes a plateau centered on the mountains that form the backbone of the Ou Mountains, Genta-Mori and Mt. Iwateyama Yakehashiri International Exchange Village

The Iwate Mountain Yakehashiri International Exchange Village, which spreads out at the foot of Mt. Iwate, is a facility blessed with natural scenery and equipped with facilities such as an auto campground, a cabin village, an observatory, and a hot spring facility. Adjacent to the site is the ``Yakehashiri Lava Flow,'' a national special natural monument with approximately 150 hectares of lava fields, where you can experience outdoor activities such as climbing Mt.
