Fudo Falls

This Fudo Falls is said to have been a dojo for ascetics, and the quiet area of ​​the forest still has that atmosphere, and a stone carving of Fudo Myoo is enshrined in the middle of the waterfall.

One cherry tree in Tamenai

A single cherry tree blooms majestically on a small hill with a distant view of Mt. The single cherry tree, which was left behind when the shrine was relocated to the former site of the shrine, blooms beautifully every year, delighting people's eyes. It is not known when it was planted, but it is believed to have been a sacred tree. It became widely known as a filming location for the movie "Operetta Raccoon Goden," starring Odagiri Joe, and is visited by flower-viewers from within and outside of the prefecture. On a clear day, the contrast with the blue sky is spectacular! Please note that this is private property, so please be careful when entering the area.

Hachimantai Dragon Eye (Kagami-numa)

Kagami-numa is located on the Hachimantai mountaintop promenade. It is said that the appearance of the melting snow in spring resembles the eye of a dragon, hence the name ``Hachimantai Dragon Eye.'' If you are lucky, you can see it from mid-May to mid-June.
