``My father, at the age of sixty, left home to hear from his master.'' Poem monument at Daisen-in Temple, Hiratate, Hachimantai City. Takuboku's father Kazuyoshi was from Hiratate. He became a Buddhist monk at Daisen-in Temple. There is also the grave of Takuboku's ancestors here. In addition, there is a statue in front of Hiratate Prefectural High School that says, ``I was holding my mother on my back, crying so much that I could barely take three steps,'' and in front of Hiratate Prefectural High School, there was a message that said, ``In the window of that house, I spent a spring night with Hideko and a frog.'' There is "Listen to it". ``Hideko'' refers to Hideko Hotta, who was Takuki's colleague and literary friend when he was a substitute teacher.
