Wasan Plateau

Located in the northwest of the city, it is a plateau with an altitude of 800 meters and an area of ​​approximately 1,500 hectares, where you can enjoy a rich variety of scenery including magnificent fields, ranches, and valleys. The wetlands are home to rare flora and fauna, and in spring, water cabbage grows in clumps. In 1974, the ``Through Green Line'' drive course connecting Niiyama Ranch, Wayama Ranch, and Sadato Ranch was constructed. Currently, the Kamaishi wide-area wind power generation project is being developed, and 43 large wind turbines have been installed.

Hashino Acorn Square
