In addition to horseback riding lessons with regular horses, we offer extracurricular classes for infants and elementary school students where you can experience horseback riding while taking care of horses, and we also travel to various events and schools with ponies. You can also go horse trekking through the neighboring forest park. The park has a grassy field and playground equipment, so you can enjoy just taking a walk.

Takizawa Forest Park/Nature Center
A vast forest park and a bird-watching forest within it. The natural forest, which is a mix of coniferous and broad-leaved trees, is home to a variety of animals, including the fictive flycatcher, great tit, and squirrel, making it a paradise for creatures. Regular nature observation sessions are held on the third Sunday of every month. Binoculars are available for loan for free, so feel free to participate. Nearby are Iwate Prefectural University, Industrial Culture Center, and Umakko Park Iwate.

Ishigami no Oka Art Museum
Opened in 1993 as the first outdoor sculpture museum in Iwate Prefecture. Reopening on June 18, 2021.
The outdoor exhibition hall has been reborn as a ``Flower and Art Forest'' where you can enjoy not only sculptures but also lavender, hydrangeas, blueberries, and more than 100 types of flowers.

Kitakami River Source/Iwatemachi River Station
Adjacent to the Kitakami River source Yuzuzu no Izumi. As the starting station of the Kitakami River, this facility is a symbol of cooperation in the Kitakami River basin. It also opened in June 2004 as a place for ``Japan's original scenery'' and ``environmental learning for children.'' Outside, there are rest facilities, a babbling stream for playing in the water, a water wheel, a lotus pond, and a grassy field.
